Privacy Policy

Effective October 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile and desktop applications published by SleepyBytes SIA ("we", "our"), the one-person company of Aivars Meijers, including Apnea Freediving Exercises, Motorcycle Journey (RiderLog), Box Breathing, Bike Identifier, Recurring Bill SubTracker, Focus Lock, Rounds Timer, Routine Planner, Daily Plank, Fasting Tracker & Timer, Extraction Raider Companion, and our other apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play (together, the "Apps").

The short version: most of our Apps store activity data on your device, with personal iCloud sync in some Apps. RiderLog also offers account-based social features and optional live ride sharing that send information to our services. We do not sell your personal data. The sections below explain what stays on your device, what is uploaded, and how you control it.

Data stored on your device

Your training sessions, exercise history, saved scans, settings and preferences are generally stored locally on your device. Some Apps also sync data through your personal iCloud account under Apple's terms. Data uploaded for RiderLog's account, social and sharing features is described below and is accessible to us and the service providers that operate those features. Data in your personal iCloud account is separate from data you upload to our services.

Health data (iOS)

Some Apps can read from and write to Apple Health (HealthKit), for example saving a breathing session or reading heart rate, only if you explicitly grant permission. Health data is used solely to provide app functionality, never for advertising or marketing, and is never transmitted to us or to any third party. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.

RiderLog accounts and shared content

RiderLog's core ride recording and map browsing work without an account. Account features use Sign in with Apple. We store an account identifier and the profile information you provide, such as your display name, username, email address where supplied, avatar and rider preferences. Apple may provide a private relay email address if you choose Hide My Email.

When you use signed-in sync and social features, we store the ride information and photos those features upload, including ride dates, distance, duration, speed statistics, route information permitted by your sharing settings, and titles or notes. We also store content you create for Places and social features, such as check-ins, comments, lists, recommendations, friendships and challenge progress. These records can be linked to your account. Visibility settings control which information other people can see; private visibility does not mean that information uploaded to our service remains only on your phone. Public contributions may also appear on RiderLog's website. Photos submitted for public display can be reviewed for safety and moderation.

RiderLog location and Lifeline

With your permission, RiderLog uses precise location for ride recording and location-based features. Recording and enabled sharing can continue in the background with the screen locked. Your permissions and settings control the available functions. RiderLog stores rides in a local store on your device; its account and social services use Supabase. No App uses location for advertising or profiling.

If you enable friend location sharing, we send your position and riding status to our service for the audience and visibility period selected in the app. Turning sharing off requests removal of that live position from the service; network failures can delay the update.

If you start a ride with Lifeline sharing enabled, we send your position, temporary ride trail, ride status, last contact time, distance and battery level to our service. These support the live ride page, arrival updates and still or lost-contact alerts. Lifeline is not crash detection or an emergency-response service.

We store the Lifeline contacts you choose, including their names and email addresses or RiderLog profile identifiers, together with notification preferences. The system contact picker gives RiderLog only the name and email address you select; we do not upload your entire address book. Add people who have agreed to receive these updates. Email recipients can opt out using the link provided.

Chosen contacts, and people with a live sharing link, can view the ride information made available by that link. Treat sharing links as private: someone who receives or forwards a link may give others access. Alerts may include your last known position or a map link. Location can be stale when the phone loses GPS, connectivity or background execution. Shared-route privacy zones trim the routes you share; they do not conceal the live position you intentionally share through Lifeline or friend location sharing. Stop live sharing separately when you do not want that position shared.

RiderLog notifications and providers

We store notification tokens, an app installation identifier and related delivery information to send push notifications and Live Activities to the correct device and account. Apple delivers push notifications. Resend delivers Lifeline emails and processes recipient addresses and message content, which may include your name, ride status and last known position or sharing links. Supabase hosts RiderLog's account, database and uploaded photo services. These services process the information needed to operate the features you use.

RiderLog retention and deletion

Temporary Lifeline ride trails become eligible for scheduled cleanup once the ride has been ended for 24 hours. Lifeline message-log records become eligible after 90 days. Cleanup is periodic, so these are eligibility thresholds rather than exact deletion deadlines. The session record, including its last known position, can remain after the temporary trail is removed. These periods do not describe every record held by hosting or delivery providers, or copies kept by recipients.

Account and synced content remain on our service until removed through the available controls or account deletion, subject to operational records and any applicable retention requirements. You can delete your RiderLog account in Settings or contact us with a data request. Signing out or deleting the app does not delete server-side account data. Account deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription, erase separate local or personal iCloud copies, or retract content someone else has already received or saved. For analytics or feedback records held under separate identifiers, contact us so we can handle the request with the relevant service.

Photos (AI identification)

Bike Identifier analyzes photos you choose to scan in order to identify the motorcycle. Images are processed by an AI image-recognition service solely to produce your result and are not used to identify you or to build a profile of you. Saved scans live in your in-app garage on your device.

Analytics

We use analytics tools, including Mixpanel in some Apps and PostHog in others, to understand how our Apps are used and improve them. Analytics can include screens viewed, actions taken, feature use, activity counts or duration and distance ranges, rider preferences, subscription status, and technical information such as app version, device model, operating system and language. Identifiers distinguish an installation or user over time.

In RiderLog, analytics uses an installation identifier and can be linked to your account identifier after sign-in, so it is not anonymous data. RiderLog analytics never include route coordinates, ride names, notes or photos. RiderLog has an analytics switch in Settings; turning it off stops further app analytics, but does not by itself delete earlier records. We do not use analytics for advertising across other companies' apps or websites. These providers process analytics on our behalf (Mixpanel privacy policy, PostHog privacy policy).

Purchases and subscriptions

Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we never see your payment card or bank details. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts, transaction history and subscription status to validate purchases, unlock paid features and help us understand subscriptions. It uses an app-specific identifier; in RiderLog, signing in can associate that information with your account so your subscription works across devices (RevenueCat privacy policy). You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Feedback and support

When you send a support request or feedback, we receive what you submit and any contact information you provide. RiderLog and Fasting Tracker use FeedbackThread for feedback, feature requests, votes and follow-up conversations. Submissions can include the app version and whether you are a free or paying customer, and use a persistent feedback identifier so you can return to your requests. Public board content is visible to other board users, so do not include private location details or other sensitive information in a public request. Contact us for help removing feedback.

Advertising (free versions on Android)

Free versions of our Android apps show banner advertising provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to serve and measure ads; depending on your consent choice, ads are either personalized or non-personalized (details). In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland you will be asked for consent before any personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice in the app's settings at any time. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google settings. Subscribers see no ads, and no advertising SDK activity takes place for subscribed users. Our iOS apps do not show advertising.

What we don't do

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. For data stored only on your device, deleting the app or using its deletion controls removes it. Personal iCloud data is managed through the app and your Apple account. For RiderLog account and uploaded data, use the in-app controls or account deletion, or contact us. Deleting the app alone does not delete data held by our services, analytics or feedback providers. You can reset your advertising ID in system settings. Contact us at the email below for any other request; we handle requests within 30 days. Subscription cancellation is managed through the store where you subscribed.

Children

Our Apps are intended for adults and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. Continued use of the Apps after changes means you accept the updated policy.
